Im leaving the PS pump and just running without the AC pump
you said a 64" 7 rib belt right
plus with no power steering to worry about it makes pulling/installing the motor 10x easier.

I checked out your website - Your build looks a little more complicated than mine lol but I never turn down a race...win or lose always fun....but looks like your out by NYC. Couple hours away. Build looks crazy man!

I meant race to get motors done LOL!
I just ordered EVERYTHING to get the motor assembled by next week hopefully if everything comes in on time.
I have boxes coming from like 5 different places haha
I have the fittings for the power steering but im not even pulling the car back in the garage until my motor is assembled so PS will be postponed 2 weeks.
My motor owns my garage ATM

So yesterday Itook apart the block and pretty much threw the rods/pistons in my back seat on the floor (winter car)....went to bring them in the garage today and noticed ALL 4 ringlands cracked.....all on the same side on the piston. Now one could blame on running 6psi with no tune, hard driving. Any way over reving could cause this? (ex. Dropping from 4th to 2nd gear on accident) Or is it just coincidence that they are all cracked on the same side from rolling around on the floor of my car for a day? PS There was no scoring of the cylinder walls.

Nothing on the oil screen - When I first pulled them out I didnt notice anything suspicious and the rings were perfectly fine. The motor only had 20K mils on it and it ran perfectly fine when it was in the car.

If your ring landings were like that you would have seen a SIGNIFICANT amount of smoke, serious cyl wall damage and a mess in your oil pan and oil pickup screen

Very true but what I find weird is how they look. You can tell when something is freshly broken and not, there are places that look fresh and other places don't.

yup. before my motor was built. i had the same problem everytime i would floor it i would get a cloud of smoke i mean alot like if my car was on fire. then they took my motor apart to build it and they showed me i had 2 cracked pistons and all 4 pistons had burnt/crack rings. but the car driving regular drove good. so it could possibly that you just didnt notice.
