You would have to take off the housings and measure the wheels on the turbo.

Each wheel has two different diameters to measure.

Yep still using the fic - running 440's at the moment - they are fine at 7psi but ive got something in the works for when i complete the swap Probably gunna go with something around 700-800 cc's with a walbro 255 and return setup - ive got a second fuel rail i got bored with and tapped tonight for the return setup Ill be picking up the aeromotive fpr with 1:1 boost rise - than ill just pick up some fuel line from a local supplier to run the return - im not to concerned with the "bling" lol of having stainless braided. I need to take a look at one of the float setups so i can see what ill need to do to block the factory regulator thats in tank. Man ive got a lot of work ahead of me but itll sure be fun when its done Est completion - prob Jan-feb of next yr - only thing holding it back from being done quicker is ill be building the shortblock at the same time so ive gotta save for pistons, rods, bearings, hg, etc and machine shop labor

Good luck on the fuel return setup.

You know you can buy the Golden Eagle fuel rail - it's the same that Descendant has/offers. I think you can find it online for less than $140.

Good luck.

I bought a complete CX Racing turbo kit for my 08 XB from ebay for $1200 and aside from the very weak 16ga 304 log manifold, the kit is pretty decent. Fitment was perfect, the charge and intake pipes are thick enough with beaded ends, the SMIC is bar and plate, 4-ply silicone couplers and SS T-bolt clamps were included, the KO Greddy Type-S BOV works fine, the 16ga 304 2.5" v-banded DP fit perfectly and has decent looking TIG welds.

Two things make this kit crap. A manifold that will crack in weeks or months (if you're lucky) and the fact that CXR doesn't seem to give a crap about fixing what could be a very affordable starter turbo kit.

It's going back on soon but with a Treadstone mani (ebay), Tial WG, custom 2.5" downpipe, 1.5" WG dump tube (ebay), AEM FIC (ebay) and a Precision 5031 (ebay). 90% of my parts came from ebay and the rest came from ATP Turbo, Boomslang or Amazon (AEM dry-flo filter). I guess you could call it an "ebay kit".

Thickness does not equal efficient. There are so many factors like End tank design, Bar/plate design...etc that play into the equation. If anything, the thickness can be a negative aspect if it's to thick since it induces parasitic drag on the air passing through towards the radiator.

Try explaining that to my boy Vinny after he decided to go the cheap route and buy Ebay stuff. He spent a bit less than any of us did ($2k for everything). In the end, it costed him a lot more than what we spent though.

thats scary lol.. i think he shorted some wires on it though, didnt remember the real cause.. but if i remember correctly he just installed his new fans before that happened. But a guy local here had an ebay turbo and after his test run fresh from install his turbo was on flame and left a mess on his hood and engine bay lol, now he's happy with his precision turbo

regardless if the ebay thing is working for you the chances of failure are 50times more than real products. Im not saying i hope u dont succeed. But i kinda dont want you to cause of the ebay sellers copying actual manufacturers who did the R&D. Thats my opinion and im sticking to it!

i have seen some ebay parts work too.. but often times reviews of it are failure.

My stand on this is, if you are planning a build in the future. Why not go straight to quality parts, for sure you would want some reliable parts for a higher hp goal.. Spend on turbo kit and parts only once and you dont have to blow a motor so you can build a strong one. You will save tons doing it first time.. But you have your own goals and ideas, whatever makes you happy.. I would want to see how this turns out though
