OK, imagine this.. Basically your tires are welded together via ur diff.. when u make a turn now, one wheel spins faster then the other,
welded diff means BOTH ur tires spin the same speed all the time!

when you turn your tires are at two different radius es es es.... so the outer needs to cover more ground to make the turn then the inner. this is the reason behind needing a differential to not let the inner or outer tire bind up the tire with more traction will hold the road the other will slip on a fwd car its usually the inner tire so it squeeks or chirps. a lsd still has the option to differentiate unless on the power thus locking the mechanizim inside then locking the two axles together. a lsd allows some slip but not much when on the power a full locker detroit style wont alow and slip
spools are what you will find on most drag cars and even on top fuel dragsters when you launch you will launch straighter then you ever have before. since one cant go faster then the other you go straight.

now when auto crossingg you will be riding with most the traction on the outside wheel it will slip the inner but wont alow your rpms to go up without spinning the outer wheel so you get thrown through the corner hard now parking will be an issue if your trying to be sneaky lol

lol.. is the welded diff making noises? and what would be bad about having both tires spin equally on a turn? i mean i see what u mean but why is that bad
