Stock fuel pump and fuel rail with 440cc injector
#45
I've shortened the line between the Rail and the FPR and the line from the bottom if the FPR goes back to the tank, rail is still fed from the stock fuel line.
And the pump install is not too bad, I'd give it a 4 out of 10 difficulty, just because you have to deal with flammable materials

thanks deathbyc4 for the helpful pics,
i still thinking to buy one AEM or other brand aftermarket fuel rail, i like the AEM one but there no company do oversea shipping to Malaysia.
or maybe i buy another stock fuel rail and modify to like this. An used stock fuel rail just 20bucks out there..
after i change to 440cc injector and after dyno, my tuner said that my car fuel pressure like not stable, when high rpm suddenly slow down, the engine will stall.. so i decided to make return fuel line. already bought FRP and walbro 255..
still thinking where to find the better double braided hose

Yes, DezodDon is dezod.com.
So, you have 440cc injectors now or you changed to something else from the 440cc's?

That is one of the cons of the returnless systems. They tend to have an unstable pressure in the upper RPM range when the fuel system is being pushed by a thirsty FI setup.

Well, you are going from high in the engine bay and close to the front of the car. I'd say you'd need at least 15ft, maybe a little more just to be on the safe side.
If you haven't come across this already, the SRT-4 guys have been building these systems for a while now. You might take some time and read about what they've done, where they've had issues and where they've been successful.
Here is a link to a pretty good write up on SRTforums: http://www.srtforums.com/forums/f187...t-pics-533893/

I don't think it will cause a problem, but you'll want a fuel pressure gauge mounted on the end of the rail by the FPR so you can make sure you are getting the correct pressure for fuel system to work the way you want it to.

I have this exact fuel setup... My Fuel pressure at idle reads about 52. What do you have yours set to? Thanks... sorry to bring up this old thread im just curious I havent seen other setups like this.

i've been at 43 psi (stock pressure), when i was running 14 psi it was with the FPR vac/boost line hooked up with a 1:1 ratio. New setup (in progress) swirlpot with dezod fuel rail, 8an/ 6an fuel lines, 1200cc injectors, bosch 044, and still using the walbro in-tank (to feed the swirlpot) and aeromotive FPR. i will probably still run 43 psi, unless i switch to E85, which is a really good chance.
