stupid SC question

The s/c has it's pros:
No Boost Spikes
Reflash with all the fuel maps no need for Dyno tuning
Plus if you sell your car it has more value with the s/c I think people would be more willing to buy a car with oem f/i than aftermarket f/i.
Just my thoughts

so far im hearing a lot of good info..thanks everyone...so as far as bearings and leaks thats just "poor install" as we can say?? im not plannin on doin the 9psi pulley im just plannin on the S/C with the intake, and a header back exhaust well all have left is the header and spipe...and everyone is sayin turbo i know turbo is better but i have had all turbo cars and just want a slight change even if it means hp differences...
and i wish TRD sparks was sellin 07 kits for that price...even with my employ discount its still 2900

i would think the basic reason why the car would be worth less with the SC is because as a buyer, your looking or dependability and overall quality when reviewing a car for purchase. so when you see that someone has installed a SC, first thing that may come to mind, is this car has been worked or driven hard. even though it may have been dealer serviced, and kept under warranty, the safest bet when selling the car would be to pull off the SC and sell them seperately. just my thoughts...
