lol, actually tonight, i had to wait around after i got off work, because a bunch of cops had just ate there, and were still talking out in the parking lot, and i was like ****! if i leave now, they'll hear me and write up a ticket in no time. sorry, i gotta get this done tomorrow.

I hope you get it resolved and sounding the way you want it.

well, sigh, i made only 225 whp, and my torque stayed pretty much the same. even with the cat on there, the free flowing exhaust just seems to keep the supercharger from making alot of boost, i only got up to about 7 or 8 psi, not a full 9.5 psi with the nst pulley.

they said that if i had gotten 2.5 inch exhaust, i would have probably seen 240 whp, but if down the road, if i increase the boost, it will be for the better, or if i want to turbo it, the car is ready to go.

so now i'm kinda at a cross roads, i can continue to upgrade the supercharger, and make more boost with a 12 or 14 psi pulley, intercooler, custom intake, tuning etc...or i can turbo the car, since everything is laid out now. for it with the injectors, i have an aem f/ic, pnp harness, gauges, clutch, flywheel, lsd and 3 inch exhaust.

i'll post my dyno sheet later, (i accidently left it at the shop, their going to email it to me later.) for now i feel like the stench of my uncatted exhaust has been replaced by the stench of failure for choosing 2.5 inch exhaust with a header. it just seems that at these boost levels, 3 inch exhaust is too big, and 2.5 would have been a better choice.

we shall have to see, i might do more upgrades to the supercharger, i might just buy a turbo kit with no fuel management since i already have those on hand right now...

Yeah you need a bit more backpressure with the TRD SC unless you're running higher boost.

yeah, so thus thusly, i am at the cross roads, i either have to get more boost out of the supercharger to make more power, and make corresponding upgrades to the intake, intercooling or water/meth and tuning, or i can buy a turbokit without fuel management...decisions decisions...

You've already put a lot of work into the S/C.

Keep it - get a higher psi pulley, do a FMIC, and go on from there. Get a piggy back.

Are you sure the Bosch 110 BPV has nothing ti do with the PSI. I think thats Bull. you have a 9.5 PSI pulley, you should be hitting 9.5

Switch to a Forge 007

i don't know, i'll do some thinking about it. as for right now, my credit card that i reserve only for car related parts and labor is maxed out, so right now i'm not looking to spend any more $$$ until that goes down...

well, i'm kinda tapped out at the moment, so i don't have any $$$ left for swapping the exhaust and re-dyno'ing. but i did drop by and pick up my dyno sheet and thus thusly...

swapping the exhaust won't cost you anything...
just takes a couple of jack stands and a couple of hours to do yourself.
you don't need a dyno to tell you if you are hitting the boost you need to be hitting. That;s where your bottleneck is.
i would also check vac lines, bpv and belt for slippage. I have a smaller belt and i get the full 9.5 lb.

dyno not so bad...you added close to 100hp over stock at the wheels that's something for an econobox dressed up like a coupe.

so how much whp would i expect with my set-up, which is almost like urs, i got the 9.5, 421 header and s-pipe 2.5 exhaust, and intake. BUT i know i hit my 9.5 psi all the time so with that little extra psi i would see higher hp right? and yes im bring this thread back from the dead.

you have everything for turbo but the turbo. the bottleneck is the superturd. sell the trd and get a simple kit with no management you can make nice power.

if you go with a higher psi pulley than the 9.5 psi one, yeah, you'll make more power, but you'll soon start needing management, bigger injectors, and some type of cooling system.

yea not much more power. when you read up on the superturd did you really say o man this thing has upgrade potential. I can keep buying parts and It will be a beast. this won't ever be a waste of money.

Depends on your goals, and the main reason people initially did it is to keep warranty. A simple kit was still a lot more than my s/c when i got mine, and now that I've got my issues fixed I like my s/c and its still cheaper than turbo and i don't need any more power than i have so win-win situation. But yea if you wanna get more power than what the s/c provides I'd go for turbo.

3" exhausts are only good if you are pushing large amounts of boost...I think ive told you this before on another thread..(if that wasnt u then im sorry haha)

but yeah if your looking to make alot more power, id say sell your S/C and go with a Turbo Kit...

and if u dont have any type of Engine management GET one... especially if you go turbo...

If you are going to buy it brand new then id say go with Dezod S1 because it comes with everything (including the Engine management) and its still the same price AND also cheaper then most Turbo kits that dont come with management...and its an awesome kit

this is just all my opinion tho.
