I have an 07 SC on an 06 tC with the 06 airbox and ecu flash. Dealer installed when my 05-06 SC destroyed itself and the motor.

As far as I can tell the intake box and maybe the ecu re-flash is the only non-compatible difference.

Nope. It was only an 06 short block replacement so only the top end was fully replaced. Otherwise it's the original, maf, airbox and ecu flash. Th only thing 07 is the SC unit and mounting bracket. It even has one less trd idler pulley than the 06 SC unit required. The manual that came with it is also slightly different, its bound and in full color and says 07 at the top.

...the part number for the belt is different too. To go along with the one less trd idler pulley I mentioned.

anyone know when the 07+ chargers are gonna go down in price. It seems more logical to just get an 05-06 and mod it to fit an 07+

I mean personally I would still turbo rather then sc but I'm just curious.

then it sounds like you don't want a toyota LOL, try looking at subaru, mitsubishi, volkswagon, audi, bmw, mazda, dodge or chevy! they all make factory turbocharged cars now, which is kinda annoying that toyota is not amoung them...

Probably won't happen until the the tC is killed off. They dropped the price on the 05-06 because they made some changes to the S/C. The lower price helped move out the old units.

yeah price drop wont happen until the tC is dead and gone

but they are selling the old units with updated bracketing and what not.

one thing im thinking though is doesn't the new kit not come with the larger injectors? if thats the case wouldnt that make the old kit better to go with in the long run?
