Hey b52hDUNN hope you don't mind me posting this here, I didn't want to start my own post cause this has been done before, so here's my new "cutsom"(< lol...sorry b52hDUNN, just had to point that out, look at your title, he he...)cold air intake set-up:
Its a Frankenstein of a set-up, the 1st part where the maf sensor is I think its an e-bay brand no name intake, the second half that goes down into the fender is from an K&N intake and the intake filter is one of those Pepboys intake lol, but it works, along with the upgraded bearings and custom shaft its improved acceleration and I'm having so much fun driving my car now after it sat for almost 2 months....

I'm running a hacked Injen CAI. Been that way since I got the new SC. I'm also running a Forge007 BPV atmospheric with a plug in the SC inlet to test AFRs before buying b52hDUNN's GReddy BOV adapter kit. No issues other than a rough start this morning but our T5 V50 had the same problem so I blame it on the cold.

I used this stuff to help keep the intake tubing from getting too hot:
I did like 4 coats and so far working great, I can actually grab the tubing without burning my hand, I remember when I used to have the Injen intake I could not do that since the tubing was way too hot. I'm also going to spray this on the TRD intake manifold(you know the one that connects to the intake tubing and SC), I'm sure that will help out as well too.
