So I guess I should quit threadjacking that other thread with this problem, since apparently you have a nine page thread on it already.

If you've replaced the supercharger twice already, then aen is right; the problem is in your engine, which is way more serious than it just being your super. Unless somehow, the super was installed wrong three times, in which case the service department that you took your tC to needs to commit mass seppuku.

im guessing you meant I should stop threadjacking that other thread? haha hey they asked, so i told :D

i installed the supercharger both times actually. its honestly not hard at all... just injectors, spark plugs, thermostat, oil pan, add the bracket, and bam, slap on that supercharger. done. i make it sound so easy dont i? it really was. the only thing to mess up is the horseshoe bracket alignment, which ive done correctly both times according to trd instructions. past that its pretty... hit or miss. haha i think this s/c is fine.

hmm interesting... i have 5w30 in right now. i HAD 10w40 in there, by recommendation of garage1217. either one burned. i guess i can try another weight! haha

the second number is how THICK the oil gets at a certain tempurature, i think that temp is 220 degrees,

oh yeah, checking the hood, its hot but i always figured that was because there was an engine under it... haha if only i knew another s/c guy around here id just compare.

well, we can rule that out actually, the sc has been changed 2 times, it isn't the sc. it's the actual engine.

i would not suggest doing that, expecially if you have a thrust bearing problem.

dyno = heat = metal to metal contact = kaboomie

well...if he DOES go back on they dyno, he'd be listening to the BIG asian boy

I seriously don't think it's his motor...Jason's motor sounded worse then his did at last weeks meet...

i appreciate the advice, and anything is possible, whether we hear it or not! it just sucks i cant test any of these theories without dealer/scion support!

yeah ive dynod maybe....yeah right around 15 pulls. haha

i couldnt dyno just motor anyway without a stock ecu... im trd reflashed. thats whats holding me back from going n/a again

if your car is running ok check valve seals, if valve seals are broken oil could leak down into the cylinder and burn up through the exhaust

how do i check valve seals? im assuming the valve cover would come off then... yeah ive never opened it haha
