damn i had the same problem but i had a oil change and the next day i did 3000 miles in 40 hours and then a couple days later as a daily driver my engine was knocking pretty hard and when i checked the oil there was none in there. i took it to the dealership after swapping all my aftermarket parts and they had to replace the short block. they said they could not find out what happen to the oil and they said my bearings were so bad that it started melting outside the casing and and crank was completly shot but my head was completely fine nothen wrong. and the funny thing is i had an oil leak about where that spot was but it wasnt enough to leave oil spots. anyway to let people know take off ur oil catch can because they will try and get out of it. my car sat in the shop for 3 weeks before being touched cuz we were fighting back in fourth about the warrenty and they only reason they replaced it was because they could not find the reason of the oil disappering.

Huh? A catch can in no way "makes oil disappear". It filters out oil that otherwise would end up back in the intake or intake manifold.

it's cause you have a SC instead of a turbo!

i think aquick easy test is just to swap someone else's piping with mine and see what happens

Or you could just pull everything from the s-pipe off...you got headers, right? So no primary cat in the stock header? If so, I have a stock header sitting in my garage.

nope i have a stock header on. both cats are present. the first one was warrantied. i just called up toyota and they said the second one was not changed. im thinking im going to have to swap out that piping and see if i gain. they can warranty it if i bring it in and they find its clogged. only problem is i go to school and cant really afford to lose the car, ya know?
