drive your car, touch hte hood, is it abnormally hot? it shouldn't be, if it is something is wrong. the toyota sc is pretty well lubricated.
also, have you tried driving without the sc? if it burns oil still it's bearing/crank/whatnot

yea but think about it
sc = crank belt crank belt = crank, bearing on crank, spun bearing = increased heat, increased heat = loss of oil
hear any weird sounds? knocking? pinging? anything?

well... honestly couldnt say if i hear knocking or pinging or anything as the s/c pretty much outdoes most other sounds with its own rattling at idle. past that it sounds ok... tomorrow scion is gonna call me and tell me what they're gonna do, if anything. maybe they'll check out the engine for me? doubtful haha

naw...I've seen it, heard it, and riden in it, and toyotas has checked out his SC...i don't think it's anyting that seriouse.
I'm fairly certian it's something simple like a leak or a slipping belt, because he is making exactly the power he should, he just is not able to reach full boost.

honestly im just going to call the boost loss a temperature-related thing that just happens, which has yet to be proven come colder days
got my intake pipe to finally jam into the silicone hose :D got it grinded down at uehara motorwerks. with some oil and effort, it went in. :D:D

well yeah its losing about 2psi regardless of the pulley size, and so i guess it is logical to say its temperature related. a lot of turbo guys around here say they lose a few psi and regain when the temps drop...

but we aren't talking about psi, the problem is oil.
the reason that's a problem is becaus eyou have switched sc twice and it's still hapepning, which means it has to do with your engine. which is also pointing at bearings that are going

yeah :[ im really hoping the call tomorrow includes phrases like "we'll check it out" and "the engine might have a problem"
whats funny is how close i cut it with all this. i now have 60,026 miles. haha... just past warranty range, but i reported the oil loss waaay before that...
