Default Supercharger for A/T

Hey guys and girls,

I currently own an automatic transmission 2009 tC. I was thinking about getting a turbo sometime in the future but since my car is A/T, it would be kind of foolish to put in a turbo since it screws up the transmission really fast. So my friend offer a solution, a supercharger instead. He tells me that it doenst mess up the transmission as much and is made for A/T cars. Any truth to that?

i see but i also hear that even though a turbo is much faster, its not as reliable as a supercharger.

plus i don't even know anyone that's pro enough to tune out my car to the right specs

you seem like someone who should invest their money in another project something you are more skilled at , tell you friend that you want you car to last for a long time and that you not going to mod it

the supercharger is not necessarily more reliable than a turbo...there's a lot of great turbo kits out now...once ur tuned, you should be good...just don't up the boost too much and don't smash the hell out of it on the streets...the result of that would be the same even with a supercharger.

If you have a warranty, as long as you modify nothing and do required maintenance and don't put the car in neutral and hold it at redline, you should covered by warranty if something goes wrong. Don't go s/c if you want whiplash
