anyway back onto topic, I don't mind paying extra for premium for my S/C since it makes my car so much more fun to drive, and it helps make my car more unique than the random tC out there. I hope to be getting better gas milage soon once I get my car tuned though, so we will see.

No, they changed a lot for it. The new S/C don't have all those problems that everyone had with the 05-06. I don't know specifics, but the tC F/I forums were always flooded with 05-06 S/C issues.
Plus, since it's a new design, they want to move the older one, so dropped the price on the older one is an easy way to move the units.

AND i can take the front plate off and retint the front windows cause i wont have to worry as much
so, pros-fairly priced, already tuned, can use my extended warranty and maintenance plan, and dont have to worry about popo's. cons-can have problems, but can be replaced by toyota.

You can get a turbo kit for 3k as well. You can put together a kit that would hoard a S/C tC for less than 3k.

"i dont have to worry about getting into full boost by 3000 rpm, instead i can shift at 1-2 psi"

"You don't know how a turbo works either do you?"
Bro, you can shift at 3, 4, 5 hell....probably 6k rpm and never go into boost.
