thats exactly what i want. just a little more of a push than stock, dont have to worry about tune, and be able to keep my extended warranty, and take it in for maintenance. (have the maintenance plan as well)

LOL....the warranty is only for stock S/C'ers with nothing else on them. How many stock only S/C'ers you know of?

He answered your question for you.

That's what they all say....

Might as well leave the car stock and add bolt-ons, you will be just as fast, and spend less money. I/H/E+crank pulley is AS fast as a S/C'ed only tC.
i dont want headers because itll be raspy, i can upgrade the stock box to an air filter, but there goes the warranty, exhaust i can do no problem, pulley and there goes the warranty.
The right combination of Resonator and exhaust muffler will produce no rasp. One of our crew members is over in Iraq right now, but his car is all bolt-on presently. He has no rasp at all. Not exaggerating either. He has none.

Warranty is overrated. They try to blame you for any and everything anyway so they don't have to provide free labor. But hey, get the S/C'er, have fun with it, when the seals go, take it to a Dealer and have some grease guy fix it up for you. Better make sure you never drive it hard though, otherwise they will try and find any neglect on your part and stick you with the bill.

Bottom line, the S/C'er is the LEAST cost effective route for the tC. Dollars - to - HP ratio is the worst if you buy that and keep it completely stock. But if you change it, there goes the warranty anyway, so you might as well go turbo.

glass half emptyl much?

and come on dude, you live in tennesse, if you were to live in socal/la for one year, you'd be scared sh*tless

haha tx cops are down... i got pulled over for not having my plate on my bumper, when asked why i didnt have it, i told the cop that i think the car looked better without it and he gave me a wierd look, laughed, agreed, said he has a civic si and he doesn't have his plate on his bumper and he let me go with a "just be careful" lol... but i've gotten let go with so many different speeding tickets but the one time i do get a ticket its for 74 in a 70

local pd here is cool, but the state troopers suck lol

oh an actually back on topic lol srry to stray but i was wonderin what to put into my 08, i figured it was easier to go with the s/c for the fact that the turbo would void the warranty, and i still got 92k miles of warranty left lol... but they both have ups and downs, different ppl will tell you different things about each one...

really what it comes down to is preference, like i said both have pros and cons, you just gotta figure out which pros outweigh their cons...

but g/l gettin what ur lookin for... hopefully i can get mine by the end of the yr ^_^

yea well i dotn like TX State Patrol cause i was on orders to my first duty station after boot camp and i got pulled over casue i had florida tags most likely. I was going 75 in a 70 and had 18wheelers passing me. I was like WTF and he acted all nice after i told him i was on my way to my duty station and still gave me a ticket. What a Dumba**. Anyways the cali no turbo laws suck. Thats why i am gonna get florida plates put on my tC when i go back home for vacation and wont have to worry bout shiit.
