yeah, i know the pulley for the sc is at the top of the engine bay, but if you have the belt go straight down, you can run it through another pulley and hook onto the belt down there by the crank pulley

But the intake manifold is on the back side of the engine up against the firewall. You would need to remove the engine to get the supercharger on there. Installation costs would be insane to have the charger put on.

even with the removal of the plastic cowling at the base of the windshield and maybe a little convincing of the metal udnerneith it?

maybe i haven't given it enough time looking at it.

i currently drive an automatic and i was wondering whether turbocharger or supercharger. would there be power loss to either one bc its an auto compared to a manual?

Yes, there will be some reletively small power loss on Auto compared to manual. Of course if we autos ever get an auto-transmission upgrade we'll be as fast or faster than manuals in the 1/4 mile. Some guys will holler about the auto losing tons of power compared to manual in a forced induction application but it's not true- they're just exagerating to overstate their love of shifting

Yes and no... Autos for a fact lose about 10% more hp through the drivetrain than manuals do... Sucks but thats how it is. You also have fewer gears which equates to taller gears which equates to slower acceleration.

Benefits are your shifts are slightly faster. And if you know where to look there are already tranny upgrades available.
