But remember - anyone can gain HP when replacing a BOV that wasn't properly adjusted in the first place! It's like having ECU brand X with a crappy tune getting replaced by ECU brand Y with a good tune and ECU Y gains 25 HP. This doesn't necessarily mean that ECU Y is better.. it is just replacing something that wasn't set up properly.
Even if your constant throwing something at the wall hoping it will stick theory was a factor in this case, it would still show that Synapse BOV as superior because you do not need to make ANY adjustments to the BOV.

There's no need for a proper setup as it is literally PnP.

My bov is working just fine thank you. Works just like they say it should. ZERO flutter without any adjustments at all! No guess work.

Read the info on the site and maybe it will make more since.

If you hear noises in VAC - that means it's too soft and you're leaking air in.

Sometimes people mistaken the sound of a BOV at low boost to be compressor surge as well - this can be hard to diagnose sometimes. But usually you can feel compressor surge.
at idle or on vac, the turbo still spins.. when you cruise the turbo still builds some pressure, though its on vac or barely 1 psi, a sudden close of the throttle still creates enough pressure to create surge and can create some more lag, though not as destructive as the ones in boost.. I guess we just keep our mind open about these and let those who had experienced and compared this with HKS or other bov say how much better/bad this bov compared to others

I really hate to "play dirty" - but go ask Synapse why he was banned from Honda-Tech.

I've been following this here/there since '06.

lol look at response #8 in the above supra link.

here are some i found by doign a simple search on supraforums:
http://www.supraforums.com/forum/sho...hlight=synapse

i personally have the greddy type r and am boosting on 23 lbs and it seems to be fine. i did want to try out the synapse products since they have had good reviews. as long as they work better than ebay products (which i would never buy anyway) than these products might be worth a try.

You keep repeating yourself, so I guess I have to as well...

Time and time again, the individuals who do not approve of Synapse have never used, tried, or seen Synapse BOV's in person. The guy in the thread that you're referencing specifically states that based on what he heard the Synapse BOV wasn't better than Tial.

Everytime Synapse posts a video, a thread, or any info regarding their products, people claim that it's fake or rigged. Such is common place with ANY part. You're always going to have people with no hands on experience making the biggest fuss.

Oh please, that would be too much to ask lol. Here we are offering ANYONE with a turbo tC to get their BOV's matched against Synapse so it can be officially documented with before and after dyno's, and no one's biting.

Instead we have the same "well, I heard that..." posts ad nauseum.

Speaking of which, you should bring your car if it's still around! It'd be nice to see the differences on a Turbonetics kit.

you claim that i am 'another "Well I heard" post.' person. just to let you know so sound like one of those as seen on tv /infomercial type person trying to move products in anyway possible. no offense but if it were soooo good im sure i/we would have heard nothing but endless posts about much better the synapse products are. well apparently they are not, so well just keep using hks, greddy, and tial. you want to know why? because they have been proven to work. ;] and btw no one hears the same rumors about tial, hks, and greddy and them faking tests...i wonder why...
