You wont get sn exact answer. Just a guess. Lol depends on your tuners and how conservative/aggressive your tune is.

I second turbo specs. An educated guess requires trims, wheel spec, and a/r's.

its hard to accurately tell without specs but im gonna say 14 psi is not high, you should be good.. 16g turbo can take 20 psi

he is using a china charger....

specs are... 57 trim, .50 ar compressor(btw i think its really a 50mm wheel)
.63 turbine

anyways its what im running... i made 272 at 10 psi on ptunings dyno, general rul of thumb is 10 hp per psi so i say at 120 psi ull be at 292 on ptunings dyno, and 14 will do u 312 gotta remember these are ptunings numbers

Can't go by rule of thumb junk. For example I am on 20psi and made 427whp. But if you go by you rule of thumb I will be at 340whp. 140stock power + 10whp per psi. It all has to do with what turbo, supporting mods, and how aggressive/conservative the tune is. And how Good of Tuner you really have.
Another example before I was built I was on 13psi and made 300whp on some ____ty tuners tune then I made 326whp on same psi but with my tuner now.

Why not get a more reliable turbo. Atleast you won't have to change it sooner then a chinamans turbo.

the genera rule of thumb is only for when u wanna raise or lower boost , it isnt meant to be a rul,e of thumb for how much hp ull make over stock..

So many variables. Manifold, exhaust, kit design, tune, dyno.

Don't get caught up with horsepower numbers is my advice. Just do it because you want to.

There are many people on here who go for high whp numbers just to post it in there signature, that doesnt win races. I guess Im just a bit bitter at the lack of Scions running motorsports events lol.

well said...though i only half agree with you on the last part but then again im not in the mix of pro racing. Im sure you guys go to events and feel kinda lonley being the only scion at times...lol

anyways what i like to do if i want to get a rough estimate of hp gain I go back to my old dyno sheets. I have dyno sheets from stock to 11psi tuned. so it kinda goes like this

stock hp-11psi tuned hp=x
x/11=y
y=hp per psi

so for example
147hp stock-298hp turbocharged tuned=151hp gained over stock
151hp/11psi=13.7
13.7hp per 1 psi

(this isnt accurate of course cause your not taking into account some of the variables such as ambiant temps, charge air temps, humidity, and so on. charge air temps will rise as you increase boost which will decrease this ratio as you go up.)

I put my power in my sig cause I always get ons or asked on here how much your pushing bla bla bla. I could careless if I have a million hp or not. All I care now is breaking 500whp and traction/suspension. I didn't build my car for any motorsports or whatever I built it for my own pleasure. Even though I wouldn't mind autocross but I wouldn't do it until I put all that power to the ground.

Good luck. I'd say 300 whp. It's still cold up here.

Saying that you have a TC that puts down 500WHP, but doesn't go anywhere is like saying...

THAT'S MAD JDM YO!!!

Sorry, I couldn't resist. Good luck on your 500WHP quest!

Nothing wrong with that, there would not be much of an aftermarket industry if only racers bough parts. It is just my opinion im stating. Personally I get not even 5% of enjoyment out of my car driving it around the street, I really look forward to racing events to let it all hang out. No other time can you drive *****-to-the-wall for a half hour strait unless you are on COPS.
