tC intake manifold in the works
Now that I have the fuel rails done, I have started on an intake manifold. This one is for a friend, but I plan on making some more after this one is finished. Here are some progress pictures.

Yes you will be able to install this without pulling the motor. The stock intake can be pulled without pulling the motor, and this one was built around the stock intakes dimensions.

I do plan on a production run of these, now as far as how much, I really can't say just yet. And as far as the benefits, I guess the biggest benefit for the boosted tC's would be an intake that will stay together. I will talk to my buddy about the before and after Dyno numbers to see what or if anything has changed from the previous dyno run. This intake is still in the works, so bare with me on the finished product. Thanks for the interest!

At this point I can't really begin to say any amount. Most of the items I used were bought, used from something else, or hand made on a manual machine by me. The production runs will be all manufactured in-house on CNC machines and some of the items will have small mods done to make assembly easier with less welds. When I get this one done and let our machine shop quote some of the parts I will have a good idea of what it will cost.

I just posted a picture of what I got done yesterday, here is a picture of the TB flange. Sorry for the crappy picture, and yes it still has to be tapped. Most of the intakes I've seen only have the one big hole and the bolt pattern. I'm making this one like the stock TB flange so nothing is affected by it. And it will allow for all the components to be in their stock locations. And as I said before I have plans to change a couple of things on the production run. One being the intake tube. The intake tube on this one will be coming in the lower back side in the center. The production one will be a little different, not much but still different. And again bare with me as this is only in its beginning stage, I am making welding jiggs and patterns as I make this one, so it may still be a little while before they are available.
