Thanks to all of you guys!!
I just want to say thanks to all the guys who are already runnin a turbo, who freely give noobs like me advice. I have several pages of notes for when PRacing sends me my Greddy kit, and in a few weeks, I will be ordering the PnP harness from the Dezods. I don't think the install will be easy, but I'm sure that it will be easier because of the wealth of information you guys have provided. And yes, as per much of the advice given here by a lot of the more knowledgable people, I will get it dyno tuned at a shop near me. Mine will be their first tC, but I am sure that they will do a good job.
Anyway, thanks again to all of you!!!

hey word of advice...make sure the tuner is used to tuning drive by wire systems instead of cable throttle and also tell him to be conservative with the timing...dont add to much timing or your piston rings will fry and crack. Buy the MAP sensor also as it will be a lot easier to tune by that.

"This person is correct on all counts. Drive by wire is not a problem. As for timing,
it is especially important to be careful with timing in boosted applications
because of the increased cylinder pressure, high pressure yields a higher
combustion temperature, hence the increase in power. With to much timing the
temps can reach a point where you can burn up ring or as I have seen in racing
actually melt the piston. Tuning using the MAP (manifold air pressure) sensor for
boosted applications is preferred over using the TPS (throttle position sensor) It
yields better control over fuel & ignition curves when going between negative &
positive manifold pressure."
Needless to say, even though I had no idea what you meant exactly, it warms my heart to know that the person who is going to tune my car does =) Thanks for the info!
