I just emailed turbonetics about the extension. If they respond i'll let everyone know how much they'll charge.

YOu can have a downpipe and both cats. If you don't have the first cat converter, an antifouler will prevent a cel
Do people not realize this is in the F/I section? Only place to put a cat on a t/c setup is on the downpipe.
There are 2 cats.. Only way to put both cats on a turbo set up is on the downpipe.

there's only 1, the second you're reffering to is actually a resonator, and its on the midpipe

Omg man. Take your old exhaust manifold and look at if (if you are turbo), Now right after your downpipe you'll see something.. that is the 2nd cat...

The exhaust pipe looks something similar to this =O=<====>======

There is no flange directly after the 2nd cat. Wich is why companies like Greddy advertise thier exaust as Cat-back, Because the exhaust connects to the first flange after the 2nd cat.

I know this because I installed my Magnaflow cat-back exhaust myself. And you have to cut the exhaust pipe 3" after the 2nd cat.

Stock header+cat:

*Houses primary O2 sensor*

S-pipe (follows header):

Secondary 02. Hmmm, i don't see any 2nd cat. A second cat would not follow after the sensors. The lump you're referring to on this section of the vehicle *not pictured*(aftermarket mid-pipe) is the one and only resonator on the exhaust system:

Okay well here it goes gotta show yah myself cause you can't find it and I don't know how to describe it better.

Click on the link and you'll find some better pictures. I guess better than real life.

http://www.magnaflow.com/07techtips/pdfs/16640.pdf

also since 1995 and the OBD II system. I don't recall any passenger vehicle that did not have 2 catalytic converters.

And why are you showing pictures of an aftermarket exhaust system to prove something about a stock exhaust system?

3.5" huh? I have an assembled DIY HELP! antifouler right here. Measure 2 1/16" together and 1 1/2" alone. If you add one more it'll make the overall 3 and 9/16" long (3.6"). PERFECT!

On a tC with fsctoty S-Pipe and factory mid-pie... Right after the S-pipe there is a secondary cat (GA3) immediately followed by a longer resonator.

I've got the ZPI kit with (2) of the help brand anti-foulers with the gasket. The one closest to the sensor is drilled out.

Have not had any CEL's , even when I installed the BOV.

Another thing about the Turbonetics o2 extendor is that the end that screws into the s-pipe has a hole on the inside like all antifoulers but it is very very small. I used the other anitfouler mods for my DC headers on our RS2 and the Tnetics hole is about the size of a Tic-Tac where the "other" one has a hole the size of a gobstopper.....sorry its the only things that came to mind to compare too lol.

Maybe I'm wrong....it was awhile ago. I could of swore that the hole was bigger on the Help brand compared to the tnetics. Either way the tnetics is quite a bit longer even with 2 help non foulers installed.

im planning on putting on 3 just to make it longer like the tnetics hey it beats out 50$ any day those help brand one are 3 $ i have 2 now on there and im throwing a cell so if i throw one more of those on there the one with the smaller hole it would be just as long as the tnetics and i should be fine
