because theres always those tools who say oh im running a conservative tune,blow their motors and wonder what went wrong....ive seen people only pull 1.5 at like 23psia ....claiming they are consevative and at a 12.4 afr

yes mike but seeing as im only set for 6.5-7psi ......lol i have it to pull lots of timming and add lots of fuel if i ever go 10psi
if your wondering why my boost is low its because i have stock clutch and pushing its limits

BTW I was serious when I said I don't get it lol how does this affect a tuning exactly? What exactly is the timing doing for the car in this case?

im still workin on my tune... i know in the dsm world when using dsm link they advise pull 3 degree of timing and adjust air/fuel till its perfect then go back to timing and add where it needs it

you pull timing to reduce the risk of detonation/ predetonation(knock)
down side to this is car will get slower

im going based off the rule of thumb for boost....1 degree retard per 1 psi usually after 5psi

Lol this is a useless thread. And b_real does tune his own car. And stOck clutch can hold almost 300. I replaced my stock clutch at I think 285 trq. And I beat the crap out of it. And like b_real said you need aimethin to see how much iming your running i'd you don't know then you should find out.
