Default Tial Wastegate adjustment

Ok im running a 8.5psi spring in my tial wastegate and i have a AEM Tru-boost controller.

Id like to set up my car where i can run less boost for daily driving and turn it up when i feel the need.

I have the boost controller set up but i dont think its working because no matter what I get 8.5psi nothing less.

So - is it hooked up wrong? Do i have to take the spring out / put in a lower PSI spring?

You need to put in a lower PSI spring. Wastegates can only run their pre-set and above (with a manual boost controller). I suggest a .4 Bar spring. It will allow you to adjust the boost from approx 6psi to 11psi.

I am so glad you talked me out of going to Ripp mods.

Can't you adjust it in the F/IC software, or is that just the UEGO?

Thats another thing ive been looking into... But how do u used the UEGO contoller gauge with the F/IC .. im sure it would make tuning 10x easier

Right now the UEGO data output goes into the F/IC but it simply shows the number on the screen / logs it. It doesnt "controll" anything...

No - tru boost does not hook into the F/IC

But hey my tune is almost 100% and no CEL!!!!!!

I didn't mean that the F/IC can control the UEGO like that, I just meant you could make adjustments to the gauge itself, like control the range, the warning...that stuff, lol .

Setup > Aux Gauge

I haven't played with it, I just saw it lol. Not sure if you can actually do anything with it though.
