Default Today I realized I wasted alot of money :(

Man, Ive wasted nearly $10k on my tc, I couldve just had one of these...

http://www.superchargertuning.com/pa...nts/show/id/18

Their comprehensive, scientific test proves its much better than any turbo, and for only $179!!!!!

Or maybe if I added one of these... Than with my twin-charged tC I should make 1000+ whp!!!!

In theory it should work 'some'. I remember seeing back in the day some bored guys at a shop strapped on a high power leaf blower to civic and dynoed it. It gave them 10-12hp if I remember correctly. Then they got stupid by putting nos to it. lol

I thought about buying one of the cheaper $30-40 ones on ebay and adapting it to fit the carb on my 6.5hp engine on the mini bike - with that small of an engine maybe itd actually make boost lol

Another similar product (E-Ram) is marketed with more realistic performance numbers. They claim that their E-ram flows 800cfm and can produce 1 psi of boost for 10-15 hp gains. What most of these companies don't tell you is that e-chargers are best suited for very small displacement engines. Personally I'd love to see an e-charger designed for use with hybrids where the battery power and charging system would allow for much more boost and power gains.

I don't know why they all use axial fans though when centrifugal fans are much better suited. Axial fans can move a lot of air provided that there is no resistance to airflow. Centrifugal fans are better suited to producing boost. I suppose axial fans are an easier fitment. For an extreme example of e-charging, see the link below.
