I wasn't trying to be defensive, etc. It's just that PTuning is in VA and I'm in AZ, so I didn't even begin researching their dyno/tuning information.
The place I went to, however, I think is the best in AZ. Well, them and Vivid Racing. But based on the research I have made, I feel opinionated in that Vivid Racing does not tune with "engine life expectancy" in mind. Plus I have been to UMS tuning a lot of other times and wouldn't let anyone other than Tony Szirka touch my car.
And javio24 - I am in Phoenix, AZ (West Valley). If you are from AZ then I think I saw you at Avondale's Toyota for Tots? I brought my tC and my 350Z. You wouldn't happen to be from Team V-locity, would you?

Oh i know you werent! You were just curious. If i read your post right you went to UMS? If so they are very good from what i hear. I have seen some cars in Modified that have been tuned by them and they were putting down very nice numbers.

From what I have seen on our dyno though with the Greddy set-up the only ones to break 300 had built motors and ran 14-16psi. The best way to tell is mph trap speed in the 1/4. I'd say with over 300whp you should trap 110mph, if it is lower then you know the numbers are inflated.
nice set-up, enjoy it man

You mean Cortney? What everyone says is true, dyno #'s are all relative unless everybody on here goes to the same dyno. All that matters is that you are happy with the power.

It only takes 11 psi to break the 300 whp mark with the right EMS and tuner. It's being done by Yamaha's brother with Turbonetics kit and a Hydra at 311 whp. ElevationTC went to 362 whp on a mustang dyno from CFT on 14 psi. stock block.

While we're on the topic of clutches, I going to keep my OEM flywheel but I need a better clutch. My car is in the 280+whp range but won't ever get over 300. My stocker is holding on fine for now but I'm torn between Exedy and ACT. I would like to keep a full face disc for smooth engaging and I like have as much pedal as I can. Any recommendations? Sorry for threadjack lol.

No it reads most accurate. If you want real world numbers the type of dyno they have or a mustang dyno are the way to go. Most other dynos up your numbers by the way they test. Modified magazine did a very good article on dyno readings. It was very informative.
Not taking away anything from the 300+whp you have. Its very good and like i said 270whp is very good for a tC on there dyno. There kits are putting out around 300whp at 8-9 psi and there kits rock. So you have a very good setup based on your numbers.

I will post the actual dyno sheet today since no one is believing me.
As forthe clutch, Although right now I probably have about 110 miles on it, I am enjoying it. I'm not running it hard because of the 500 mi. break-in period, but when I did a few times it grabbed right away. I'm pretty impressed with it. Major upgrade from the stock clutch IMO. And Exedy doesn't quite have the horror stories like CC or clutchmasters

i was just saying. you guys are all gung ho about ptuning and no one else. seriously who cares. i don't have ptuning by me, but i'm still going to go to a well-known, well-trusted tuning shop to get everything done.
yes, i agree that some dynos are inaccurate. i just had the car dyno'd last month at a stupid technical institute at a show and the dyno was a little ridiculous, but for everyone to make their world revolve around ptuning's dyno is very ignorant in my opinion.
