Default transmission help

i currently have an automatic tc, is it worth swapping a manual into it or just going and buying another car with a manual already in it? thanks

depending on how much you plan on droping on the next car really manual swap really isnt that exspensive if you look at the thread its a sticky somewhere better than starting all over with higher car payments lol

ignore the part prices those are from toyota ive othered guys on c-list like a grand for a full tranny and they accept but im already 5spd lol just testing waters

try junkyards to theyll give you great deals

tranny, clutch, flywheel, pedal assembly, master/slave cyls will run you close to that alone.

thanks for the help and i got one more question if you know. how much horsepower can the stock manual transmission handle without being upgraded? would it make sense for me to put in a new clutch and flywheel anyways?

to answer your question instead of being fed up with people not searching.....it all depends on what hp you have in mind.

you do need to upgrade clutch though...stock clutch can only hold around 250hp....at least mine did.....flywheel is up to you. do not ask me what kind of clutch to buy......because you can search for that.
