Default Transmission problems with boosted engines?

This is a question to those who actually have boosted their engines, turbo or SC, or to the tC tuners.

I've been looking at the 240 whp and 300+ whp kits a lot and they put down some nice numbers. Most tuners recomend getting a better clutch but what about the transmission and the rest of the drive train? I imagine that the stock tranny could handle 300+ whp if you don't beat on it and do 5,000 rpm clutch dumps.

Has anyone with a boosted tC had any problems?

scion speed (even though they arent around anymore) hit 328whp before they had to replace the clutch. ZPI i belive Kenny has a 400whp daily drivin tC(or they at least have a 400whp tC) but from my understanding on the m/t all you need to really upgrade is the clutch/flywheel for anything over 400whp your gonna need actual engine work, but the acutally tranny it self should be fine on 300whp+. I have an a/t imma tune mine to 250whp-270whp on monday just to be on safe side. because we are not sure what the a/t can handle.

Thats cool but I was looking for more of a first hand account. Not he said she said. Tuners personal cars really don't count as they are going to break anyway
