Hello,

Well..I installed my TRD boost gauge and I followed this

but when I finished my car at idle read 20 IN.HG...and as i hit the gas it goes towards PSI...

Is this correct....

Yeah dude. Thats right. 20 vac is the right reading. Punch it and see what happens.

Same with mine, but I haven't totally punched it since I don't know if I adjusted my BPV properly. But you did install it correctly. It's pretty accurate, but the closer you do it to the throttle body, the more accurate the reading.

yes it is true, becaues if you were below the vac then that means your car died. so it should be idling somewhere other than the last vac point and when you start pressing the gas it'll increase until 0 then once you hit boost you'll be in the psi

do you understand what a boost gauge is supposed to tell you and how forced induction works?

Not being an ___, that's like asking if its right to feel a surge of power with a turbo. I wish you luck if you would ask something like this. That's what we are here for. :D

24/20/18 are all accurate readings at idle.
