get it if you want it, i have it and it's fine. dont base your decisions on what other ppl tell you, base them on what you think, feel, and research.

i have a trd cai, looks great, sounds great, performs great. makes a good sound that fools people into thinking i'm turbocharged. also comes with a bypass valve to prevent hydrolocking.

but even though it is a trd cai, it isn't warrantied because it is classified as an off-road part.

so since it isn't a warrantied part anyway, just get a cai or your choice, and put on an aem bypass valve for safety sake.

i had a k&n cai installed by my dealership because they couldn't get the trd one for so long. the transmission support bracket broke, replaced it under warranty, broke in two weeks, told them to replace it with a trd one like i wanted, the complied, haven't had a proble since.

now the part itself is warrantied, but if it hurts your engine (hydrolock) it isn't covered.

ya water in your engine isn't warrantied.

but i am happy with the intake itself and ppl realy think i have a turbo cause of the whistle. but ppl are stupid cuz turbos dont whistle they pssshhhhh

it isn't because of the whistle it makes, it is more because of the "SSSHHH" sound it makes when you open and close the throttle that sounds like a silenced BOV.
