Been supercharged since fall of 2005. I have 49K on my car and about 37K on my SC. I am looking for goodies for more power and will follow a similar format to Icenine.

Is anyone here tuned with a greddy emanage ultimate, instead of the trd reflash?

-I dunno how long it will take for install, but i called around before, and i think some places quoted me about $400-$500 for install. also make sure that teh dealship u get it installed at has the reflash tool and if they have ever even installed a S/C on a tc before, lots of places don't have that much experience with install and you don't want some tech that hasn't done it and doesn't know what their doing right?

Correct, call all of your local Scion/Toyota dealerships and ask how many SC kits they have installed thus far. You want to be specific for what team of techs who were most involved in the install processes prior to you. I was the second SC installed in KY back in the fall of 2005. My first SC went to crap in 2006 and have had my second since the spring of 2007 and is doing just fine. Installs are part of the cause as to why the SCs are failing.

To answer your question Duanys: I have not done the GReddy emanage myself. Yet I believe it would be beneficial if you plan to go water/meth injection, increase boost, CAI, and exhaust. I heard some nice amounts of HP can be had with this tool when done correctly.

thanks Soul and vodka.

some real good info.

i called the dealership i bought my car from yesterday and they said would get back to me on how much install and time, warranty blah blah blah would be. The guy seemed kinda lost when i asked him if they would still install since they stopped carrying them for the tC. hopefully i can find a good dealership to install.

another question, sorry kind of a noob with s/c

How does the whole pulley thing work? (9.5 pulley)

do you just DIY the switch and it adds boost?

or do you have to re-tune it?

from what i have read the ecu reflash can handle the 9.5 pully but adding an intake is iffy. Im not sure but i think a new bpv is recomended but not necesary.

i'm looking for the right place to do my install to btw ;)

-the switch is simple, but doing that will void ur warrenty with TRD and toyota. and the new S.C have an anti tamper device thing.

-basically switching the pulley will help the S.c. gernerate more boost.
