$445 install :D

Felt sorry for the techs because it took'em a day and a half since they'd never done it before. Great guys but the local dealership runs at $85/hr for labor...so they only made ~$30/hr.

Warranty reasons.

Plus Keith@Liberty knows his stuff, as does his staff. In NJ, there is simply NO better dealer.

I traveled over an hour to have mine done there, as did a few others from SL.

Keith runs a very tight service department, and he doesn't sugarcoat anything. Nor will he try to BS you into ridiculous reasons for why it was your fault something broke.

When I was looking around I had Longo quote me $3200 for S/C and $300 for install. But my uncle is getting me the s/c for $2800 so I went with his price needless to say. He's a parts manager, if anybody is wondering how I was able to get the deal.

not all mechanics are clueless..some of them do know what they are doing. i was sure to do some research on who'd be installing my s/c. found frank at joe myers in houston. he did all the s/c installs on the cars and trucks brought into that dealership. when i went to check them out he was actually in the middle of installing a s/c for the tc.

and yes..for obvious reasons, warranty concerns.

ummm... maybe i'm a bit sore because i had to sell mine... but isn't a little silly to makes posts like "ooohhh i'm ordering my SC" So what... the whole friggin country has done it by now... i'm tired of reading the same old thread. "I'm so excited i'll have it in a week ooohh la la" no offense superwhhite but every friggin thread you post on you have to make sure everyone reads that your uncle got you such a great deal on your supercharger and how some mechanic is going to install it on the side... WHO CARES?!?! When you got something like KYTC and do something out of the ordinary let me know otherwise i'm not impressed secondly your 2,800 isnt all that hot of a price... got mine for cheaper the week it came out God its like a bunch of little kids and pokemon cards sometimes on here i swear...
