Default trd supercharger

i just got the trd supercharger on friday, and it feels like i boost sometimes and the other times i dont. how long do you think i need to break it in? Did anybody had this problem with theirs?

I would run it at a normal pace for 500 miles. Also yes, it will feel like no boost if your at low rpm becuase your not producing allot of boost. You will mainly feel it at higher rpm only. Last your stock bypass valve is probably leaking allot and it sucks under partial throttle low boost. Change it out and your car will feel mucho better.

I would have to agree totally with garage1217. Changing out the bpv to at least a bosch 110 would be a good idea. If you give it over half throttle you should notice a little more response because you are flowing more air. Centrifugal superchargers work more like a turbo than an eaton-roots style. They take the best of both worlds.

yeah changing to the 110bpv made it much more responsive. On the dyno it added 8HP overall and I was able to hit 7psi at 6000rpm, whereas I only hit 5PSI at 6000rpm with the 102bpv.

I got mine used off of ebay but there are some on the net like auditttuning (idk? search google) that comes with the different springs. If you up the boost just use the red spring, HUGE difference
