big diffrence in sound huh LOL. Do you think I should install my TRD CAI? I told it out months ago when I got my supercharger. I was trying to sell it but I can't find a buyer. Should I install it? It's just sitting in my basement and I'm tripping over it. lol

i think the sensor mount is located to far up the pipe. This might not alow you to make a good cut in the area you need. I think we had one guys that tried doing that in my area before he gave in to buy a K&N. Post if you get the TRD to fit, I'd like to see it work.

Would there be any benefit to putting a CAI or a short ram, other than looks and the sound, on a SC set up?

There is restriction in the sock airbox, so yes there should be a benefit. Someone I think disconnected the airbox on a dyno to see, and there was a gain. I think i saw that somewhere, not positive.

i was talking to zpi, the supercharger kits actuallys comes with its own airbox (and it is actually smaller than the stock one) but on the zpi website, they did a dyno run of a supercharged tc, it laid down 195 hp, then they removed the lower half of the airbox and it made 214 hp.

so a tc with a supercharger, and some kind of high flow would be like 214 hp, add a zpi 9.5 ib pulley for another 21 hp, and you have 234 plus a lite weight crank pulley for whatever that is worth, and then a unichip like from www.forcefedracing.com which says it can add 29 hp (263), plus a set of headers, s-pipe and high flow exhaust combo which i would guesstimage to be like what a grand total of maybe 270 hp? would that be a darn good supercharger set up? i think that will be my plan to finially make the supercharger worthwhile. at least i hope it will or it will be alot of my money down the toilet. try to make a super tc keep up with all those turbos
