How happy are you with it?
Most importantly they say at treadstone the MAF is enough to run the kit on 7lbs-9lbs... can anyone confirm this or do i really need to get the greddy emanage??? someone let me know please.

First of all Search...

Second of all, read up on everything.

Third, plenty of people have the treadstone kit, its a great kit for the price..

there have been a few application of their kits by people on this forum. simple searches would turn you some results. Ambition760 is running the stage1 kit @ 220is whp, jrodTc is running teh stage1 @ 240whp.

The Treadstone kit comes with a Garrett GT2259 turbo which is capable of producing about 280hp

yes, it is a t25 turbo. it's always good to get some kind of management when boosting a non-boosted vehicle.

t25 kinda sucks... ive had a turbo teg and used hondata... it ran great but they told the MAF is enough and emanage wont do anything more for me. but im not sure about that.

to quote Joe from another thread:

There really is no reason to not buy a piggy-back. You'll make more power, and the engine will last longer. So why not right?
You might be fine running the kit without a piggy-back/standalone. It's my understanding that the ZPI stage 0 kit works without one, and it is set to run at 6psi I believe.

yeah the treadstone kit is the same as zpi it workds throught the MAF just like zpi, so thats what i mean do these kits really need emanage.. why would they say they dont if you really do... especially zpi a big name supplier for our car?

Emanage is always recommended, because running the stock ECU, you won't be able to squeeze out as much power as you should, because you can't adjust your AFR's and such

Basically what they are saying is that those kits will run without a piggy-back ECU. But if you get one you will get better results and be able to better care for your engine.

don't get an emanage. if you took the time to read about the kit you'd see they say DO NOT use it. if you want a good piggy back go with map ECU II if you want a stand alone hydra or aem.
