Default triple din gauge and cd player replacement, need some help.

So ive been searching around and I think I am going to install the triple din gauge and move my cd player to my bottom storage area and mount it up sideways, i want to be as stealthy as possible and the triple gauge pods wont beable to do that for me so i was wondering if anyone else on here as attempted or done this?? ive searched but came up empty handed so either im completely oblivious or just a dumb noob.

what bottom storage area? Nothing on the console is tall enough to mount a cd player in sideways....

no hes talking about below the air controls in the storage hole. dont know if its big enough to fit a double din and most likely gonna have to make ur our frame/brackets to install a single din cd player. y dont u just install the gauges in ur cubby instead of switching it around??

you definitely can't fit a din cd player in the cubby hole under the a/c controls...

Don't know if this helps but this is what I did with my flip out and gauges.

yea but his whole point for this is stealth, so that he can close the radio cover and make the gauges disappear, you took off the radio cover to do your setup didn't you?

well yea i meant the armrest in the bottom part, or i guess i could mount it in my glovebox too, guess that would be a little easier to manage but i was seeing if it would beable to fit into the armrest spot..

i think a simple single din cd player would fit in the bottom cubby of the armrest for sure.

i dont think a cd itself would fit in the cubby below the hvac let alone an entire deck.
