too bad none of u guys live in NJ, or NY..we could have met up and gone to englishtown this summer. Every wed and saturday night they have the fwd shootouts


PS when this kit is all said and done, you guys have any tips before i go to the track with it this summer...maintenance wise...so sht dont break on me?

92 octane, slicks, at least stage 3 comp clutch and some launch control. also a good tune and you'll be set..

oh and weight reduction! not that it helps with your car not breaking but it will help your times! haha

People always tellin me im crazy for spending all this money on my car...i then tell them it really not that much money to me since im making about $20k-$25k more a year than them! LOL...its a hobby just like people spend money on insane computers or gun collections!

When ur gonna go to the track i would suggest making sure all ur pipe fitting are on REAL tight...dont want to pull what i did and have an IC pipe pop off!

yeah no poping one of those off.. if you have never had it you will think you just blew your motor and your car is broken and your life is over, then you realize your coupler just same off the intercooler and you feel like a new person! haha

yeah popping of is a no no.. oh crap, i just remembered i cheated with a grease putting 2 of my couplers.. its tight though and pushed all the way.. anyweiz my intake and charge pipe are almost touching each other pretty sure they bang each other, are your intake and charge pipe like that too? it has some good amount of play when you wiggle them, did you put something to keep it from rattling?

I've never heard any rattling on mine...then again all i can really hear is the WGs! LOL...the pipes have play but i think they rarely touch.

When my charge pipe came off i had that same sinking feeling...there went my car...it happened at night too so i couldnt see that it had popped off. took it to Todd the next day and felt like an idiot when i popped the hood! LOL

my intake and charge pipe arent that close.. haha that sinking feeling is horrible.. glad it wasnt serious though! haha

you can always flare and the ends of your charge pipes,that might help alittle.and if your couplers are being a pain in the a$$ to install,use wd40 it dries out after about a day.
