whoever asked about hte software...I'm running 2.01, saw no need to go to 3.01, but he base map builder is GREAT if your tuner has never used the f/IC before.

aen went to 3.01 and it fried his F/ic, had to send it back to AEM for fix.

Anyway, Phresh, I know what yoru talking about now. If you look at my "Sue" map, that is exactly how it is. He was a honda tuner, dont' know how the car is even running like that, but if your tuner is using THAT map as a starting point, tell him to start over with the X or C map cause the sue map is totally backwards.

hope you get it worked out.

Gas prices are ____ing me off. With the forever climbing price of gas its putting a halt on my purchase of a damn turbo kit. 3.73 a gal/regular and 3.89 a gal/premium. And its only gonna go up... Ouch this sucks.

I wouldnt' do anything less then the basik...
what do you mean those wierd verticle looking ones?
Oh, but Todd said the one I currenlty ahve is the one going in his lower end kits, but that was when his lowest was the basik....I'd assume it's the same for the simple.

yeah i hear ya on that meaty the guy who was tuning my car is a honda guy to so that could be the issue but me and a buddy of mine went ahead and jsut created a map using the map creation tool and it worked i did get a cel and these where the codes i threw

p0172
p0420
p0304

the first time i had a cel i had 9 codes hahaha they all went away except these i know one of them is for the catalytic converter another is for running to lean and then to rich....i changed my spark plugs today and the other code is for a cylinder misfire any one ever get these codes? how did you fix them?

pretty much thats all thats left to do i tried to eliminate as much as i could because at 200 an hour for them to do what i did is crazy so im hopin its only going to take them 2-3 hours to tune my car as opposed to 4-5 with all the problems i had i still need to get an anti fouler that will get rid of the catalytic converter problem i changed my spark plugs today i went step colder so im hoping everything else is just tuning related

exactly...if your not gonna at least do the basic, your no better then getting a dezod kit, except you save a few hundred dollars with the simple.
Ram horn and EL mani's just flow (and look!) so much better.
But for the money, the simple is a great kit...MUCH better then the supercharger!

You'll see some up in about 2 months. Maybe even with the new TT exhaust. Just gotta wait for Todd to get back from Cali . Oh well, the longer I wait for the order to actually get place, the more money I can put aside for everything else needed .
