Easy guys! Here's what happened... I installed it, it smoked and smells bad because of a bad base map from the 2005 tC, I got it tuned by my cousin, I made it from 220 (basemap)-241.6WHP on regular boost of the kit, I (actually the tune crew) got it to 312-313 on 12PSI that night, had to drop boost due to overheating and the couplers stretched due to heat losing boost pressure, drove it home at 240WHP and raced a stock STi and I won, next day going to work, it won't start and had to drive my Rolla, called my cousin and told me to re-upload the tune, it started, I drove it to work fine, a month later I was cruising I noticed a foul smell on the hood pulled over and it was the couplers on the turbo melting and has little match like fire, fixed it with better coupler and boost leak is gone, recently- I can't start my tC since last week and I'm trying everything to get it to start but can't...

In the future, (probably on monday.) I'm going to take it out, turn it into a really cool coffee table (I think it would be worth the 3grand!) and keep the tC stock for a while, and get a better kit for the tC!!!

haha! hey forpinks, we saw you on another forum saying you're getting a drift car lmao

oh and btw forpinks, why would you just waste $$$ like that and not try to fix it. if your car doesn't start (assuming you actually have the GReddy kit which i doubt), it might be something as simple as the, i dunno, ignition fuse.

....or you could turn it into an imaginary coffee table *shrug*

Oh yeah, How many WHP can this make on 8.5PSI tuned on AEM FIC? (I'm hoping 240WHP on Mustang Dyno...)
I dont see that being an issue

But Todd, would this kit basically run like the ZPI stage 1?
More comparable to the Dezod and Turbonectics kits.

but why wouldnt it come with a pre-tapped oil pan, i thought that was a given with most turbo kits?
No one includes a pre tapped pan.....ZPI had it as an option but they were it.

Phoenix to Sioux Falls Round Trip 330 taxes included
Not that bad......we can work something out....free install and tune for a plane ticket

oh and when will this be available?
Available NOW, started building the first 4 yesterday

i wouldnt guess for awhile.

the basik kit is still in the works
You shouldn't guess......

This kit and the BASIK kit are available.....quite a few of the updated BASIKS have shipped....might see some stuff on line here sooner than later

you just need a car to stick it on so you can get pictures/testimonial.
Already in the works

Regards-

Todd

SO todd for roughly $3300 the kit includes everything ( injectors, AEM FIC, harness, install kit)

On a good tune, ( probably by RIPP modz) 10 psi, turbo back exhaust. 330 WHP , 300 WTQ possible or little less ?
I'm debating between you and Dezod . And this kit makes me think twice before choosing for sure.

What the A/R trim for the GT35R that you use on that stage 3 kit? If its 57 trim then that's the exact same turbo my friend has on his Evo.

Yes sir

Its hard to say and I dont like to guess.....I get that out of my Ver2.1 kits......Your torque and hp's are going to be closer together based on all the back pressure from a log. You won't have that kind of separation until way late in the powerband and at high psi levels......and over 6400rpms.

The 330 is achieveable but I dont think at 10psi....maybe closer to 14-15. And your torque will be the same or within a few #'s.

I'm debating between you and Dezod . And this kit makes me think twice before choosing for sure.
Thats good to hear.....that means I am doing my job. Thank you

Most "out of the box" GT35R's are 56 trims

But you can get creative with them.....and use a 57 trim or a 60trim (more commonly done in the GT3076R)

If its a 57 trim....its most likely a GT3076R sold as a GT35R with a different comp housing.

Regardless its a good one...especially for an EVO

To run 14-15 PSI i'm gonna have to rebild my engine. My intension are: To run a kit that will give me at least 300 WHP on 10 psi for track or race days , and about 240 on 5-6 psi for daily driving. I guess i'm traying to run maximum of 330 WHP at lowest possible PSI without touching my internals for now.

11 psi can be done with stock internals. Don't forget about pulleys, those will usually get you a good 10 more hp.

Says who???

PSI is irrelavent here...........I can put a GT28RS on a TC and run it at 17psi and max it out.

14-15psi on a T3/T4 isn't going to hurt your motor. Especially with a good tune on the FIC.

What counts in the amount of air the turbo is flowing at that given psi level.

10psi on turbo a is totaly different than 10psi on turbo b.

I guess i'm traying to run maximum of 330 WHP at lowest possible PSI without touching my internals for now.
It can be done with a log....your just going to have to run more psi.

You want it the easy way your going to have to get a EL style manifold. More power per psi of boost. Ver. 2.1 has your name all over it if that is what you are trying to accomplish.

No log style kit will give those kinds of numbers at low psi. Your going to have to turn it up a bit. Which is not a bad thing.

Good point but you're not running 17 PSI on pump fuel .
