most typical is probably the seals going on the turbos... specially in tCs because we have a reallly high oil pressure. Maintenance is really just changing your oil regularly, keeping an eye on Air/Fuel ratios to make sure your car has a safe mixture and checking the couplers and vac lines for any leaks. If you treat the kit well, it will treat you well... unless its the vestion 1 turbonetics kit...

Now there is the SIMPLE series from Turbotoyotas:

I said I would never make a TC kit with a log manifold...well I lied

Long story short......I was asked to make a group of guys a simple kit with a log manifold.

In the end it makes sense to offer it to the entire community, as all TC owners are not looking for the same thing. Well now I have all the bases covered. From SIMPLE to the EXTREME

SIMPLE kit:

-T3/38 flanged stainless steel log manifold
-Garrett T3/T4 turbo (choice of trim and ar)
-Tial 38mm WG
-BOV
-Intercooler
-2.5" aluminum chargepipes with couplers/clamps powdercoated black is standard
-3" aluminum intake pipe with maf flange and choice of K & N or AEM air filter powdercoated black is standard
-2.5" Stainless steel downpipe and s-pipe combo
-Oil feed/drain lines
-Vacuum block with fittings
-All installation hardware

Included "extras":

Choice of black or polished ceramic coated manifold/ dp and s-pipe/ turbine housing (all 3 will match based on color selection)

Kit price: $2400.00 + shipping

Fuel kit upgrade:

550cc plug n play injectors
AEM FIC
Plug n play adapter for FIC

$849.00

Total with fuel kit: $3249.00 + shipping

Options:

Pre-tapped oil pan: $125.00

For the show guys :

Polished manifold: $60.00
Polished chargepipes: $120.00
Polished Comp. housing: $60.00
anodized black intercooler: $100.00

THIS IS NOW THE MOST AFFORDABLE COMPLETE KIT ON THE MARKET

There is no modifications, no cutting...you just have to drill 3 holes:

Well after reading all 7 pages of this......Here's my input.

I think this will work out great for those just looking to get into the turbo scene or don't really want to expand there hp to be up there.

Like, I had goals of shooting for 400-450 but I realize its not that fun in a FF Car lol.

I would love to see a basik kit even with log style manifold and decent tune with the FIC make atleast around what ZPI stage 1's were putting out.

I think I will save for this kit also and shoot for the 275-290hp mark.

Overall Very nice price and nice price on the fuel upgrade.

TT about to get $3249 from me + Money for a pre tapped oil pan =D

But then I just need to save for a $400 tune =/

One quick question, You wont have to move the radiator fans to clear the turbo no?

And...Do you still have to take the pins off the turbo and clock the turbo before dropping it in?

have a question about the intercooler....is the piping going to stick out of the side vents in the bumber like some do or will it be hidden and only the actual intercooler will be visible? I dont like it when the piping is sticking out of the bumper

Like the other kits, you wont see any intercooler piping except right off of the IC in the lower middle grill.

Wait...I saw a pic of a turbo kit (I think it was a TT) and it had very low charge piping on the RF side...If it was TT, does the stage 3 kit have the same charge piping?

Shouldn't have to clock it, that's usually for custom kits and buying a turbo straight from Garrett or another manufacturer. Kits are usually pre-clocked. I'm not saying this kit is or is not, because I don't know, but it should be..

Carbon...that was my TT kit, which was the version 1. He has since redone the pipe desige so they go straight and and do not hang low. As soon as I get my new set of pipes, I will update the pics.

firestorm...whenever you get a turbo, you will have to clock it as it is one way from the (garrett) factory and different kits have the pipes in different locations. You will most likely (90%) have to clock the turbo. It's simple.

Ok I thought it was a TT kit. That pipe scared me, especially since my driveway is a little on the retarded side..if I don't enter/exit slowly at a certain angle, good bye bumper.

hey Todd, your pre-tapped oil pan, is it also already welded??? And the oil pans changed from 06 to 07 so you have both designs right??? May be interested seeing how everyone that has a TT kit seemed to get theirs welded anyway...

carbon...that WAS the TT kit. But the low pipes have since been fixed.

t_urbo_C_harged: I got a pretapped oil pan on my kit and the fitting was not welded. I had mine welded, cause that's the right way to do it. I'm not sure if Todd could weld the fitting on the pretapped pan, but it couldnt' hurt to ask.

Oh, and i was not aware the pans changed from 06 o 07.

Thats how mine was too. Again, mine was the version 1 as well. Todd saw it and realized it was way low...no longer a problem!

hey bro...I got another buddy of mine that wants a low boost kit kinda like this. He was thinkin about GReddy at first and i told him just to get the stage 1 from you but then he decided he didn't want kit in that price range, something lower cause he drives it every day.
He started looking at ZPI Stage 0 and Dezod S1, since ZPI is outta the picture he really only has two good choices left. So how does the TT kit differ from the S1?
