Default Tuning...

ok, I need to get my car tuned...but I was waiting for my IC pipings so I can have the IC install b4 the tune. I got friday sched to tune but my friend didnt get me the IC pipings this past weekend....my question is, how much difference would a tune before the IC and after? should I stick with my appointed tuning or delay for the IC
any suggestions?

Exactly. It's very important to tune accurately.

The intercooler will lower charge temps effectively making more condensed, cooled, compressed air into the combustion chambers. This creates more power, along with the benefit of having more resistence to dentonation. These factors will all effect drivability and power results.

if you get tuned w/o an IC, then add an IC expect fuel to be much leaner as cool condensed air has more oxygen molecules in a given space vs hoter condensed air.

yeah I know all that stuff, its just that I am running with the greddy emanage blue right now and itss not tune correctly or at least my car is not driving correctly with it installed. I have the ultimate already but no IC piping. and like I said before the tune shop is 2 hours away.
and I am very busy with work. m-f no offs unless using vacation and which i used for this friday already but no IC pipings. I didnt really want to drive that long with the emanage blue especially if its not tune correctly.
btw I only been turboed for 400 miles. new clutch/fly and 1 new piston....breaking everything in right now

I was going to get it done at redline, but they dont tune emanage so they recommended alamo to me. they are close to my friends apt so crash there the night b4 so I dont have to drive at 7 in the morning to get there.
i did a guessamated quarter mile run last night on an empty street, hit 92mph on my untuned 4psi turbocharged tc...with the conversion calculator i found it only equates to 194 hp to the fly...*tears* not even close to where it suppose to b.

sorry didnt see that earlier. well from what my friend told me that installed it. he said the wastegate spring was wide open or whatever so when he started my car....pretty much a million lb of boost hit my piston if I had a site to host my pic i can show you what it did lol I kept it for keepsake

it sucked a$$ getting a head gasket, I got it from zpi (since according to my friend's dad "no toyota dealership in the US have them, backorder...") and ordering a piston from houston took a ibt
