one more question here. does your blow off valve make a nice swoosh sound or does it make a fluttering swoosh sound?

Lemme see if I can hit most of these questions. The kit itself cost me $4190, it was on sale about 3 or 4 months ago before it came out through TurboKits.com. Jesse out there is a really good guy. If you need anything, and I mean ANYTHING in the way of mods from gauges all the way to suspension stuff give him a shout.

The gauge pods were a custom job. Around $750 for the pods and the timer mount. JR's Custom Auto in Irving did them. Lee is the man you want doing glass for you. He's amazing, as you can see.

The kit was installed by the guys at Jotech in Garland. Really easy to deal with, but I wasn't too impressed with their prices on the parts I needed. Which is why I bought them seperatly and just brought them to Jotech to be installed. Now, that's just my experience based on what I needed, other things, they might have better prices on.

We tried to figure out about what we've spent on the car thusfar and including the car itself we're right at about $31K.

Blowoff valve makes a nice whoosh sound. Doesn't seem to flutter. Those raptors are nice.

The Turbonetics site says 300hp @ 8 psi. However the wastegate springs you get are either 7 lbs. or 9 lbs. So, the guys at Jotech were pulling my 252/263 numbers at 7psi. it will occasionally spike to like 7.5psi, but doesn't go above that, nor would I want it to on a stock engine. New rings, pistons, etc. and I'll think about it. As it is, I'm happy with the 7psi.

For those of you who haven't seen it and would like to, I think we're going to try to do the March 18th deal. Sounds like fun. Otherwise if you'd like a more private viewing just drop me a line and we'll see what we can do: ryanATideapimp.com

Hey Ideapimp,

Thanks for the kind words

The Turbonetics 300HP # was rated at the Flywheel. You are probably around 310 to the flywheel and at less boost! Sweeeeeeet...

Anyway, great job... Love the gauge pods...

Default DYNO NUMBERS!

Ok, so I'm an idiot. I dunno why I thought he said above 260 on torque. No matter. I'm still proud. And I was right on the money with HP.

The first run has the GReddy EVO II exhaust on it and no other power mods. The second adds the turbo kit.

HP - 126.6 to 252.1
Torque - 129.9 to 258.9

Those are gains of:

125.5 HP and 129 ft/lbs. It ALMOST doubled both numbers. Crazy.

No, sorry, different guy... The A/T tranny was another one of our customers, he is waiting for a bunch of other parts to come in before he does the install... I will def update the board when we have some definite results on the A/T

Thanks
