I would get the ZPI stage 1, works well on the stock block, upgrade your clutch though. And get LSD while you're at it, it'll all help in the end. If you're craving for more, then get yourself a short block or long block and boost up to your heart's desire!

omg..
it depends on how fast you want to go and how much money you have to spend... I would begin by trying to drive some faster cars and find out how powerful they are and shoot for something you like. Anything over 300 horses will start to cost you serious money... And with any kit you need a performance clutch to hanlde the added power. You obviously need all the parts and you need someone to install it and someone to tune it and you need spare money incase something breaks (including a new engine cuz scion will not cover that with a turbo kit).
If you are asking a question like this it probably means you dont know too much about turbos. I STRONGLY suggest reading as much as you can before you buy anything. Figure out how your engine works, figure out how a turbo system works, figure out what the parts do... Read some reviews and check some numbers and vids on this website...
Once you do this you'll be able to make the decision for yourself. But for you I would recommend something like a ZPI stage 0, or a similar small turbo kit that will be cheap but will give you some nice power. Get a turbo kit that will push you to 240-250 horses, or keep reading and educating and maybe you will find out you want 300 or more. But once you get past 250 or 300, you will have to spend a lot more to add that power, and to get it all down you will also spend more on tires...
I mean just for the cheapest turbo kit you need a new clutch, you need install and tune, you need to run premium gas, probably synthetic fluids, and you need enough money set aside for a broken axle, blown motor, etc.. so it's expensive.. And then as you move up in power it gets much more expensive because of all of the parts you have to replace and build..
as for th 700 hp remark it was obviously a joke so 2 much you should give it up.. its no biggie, just laugh and move on..

Also ZPI doesnt sponsor me, I am just bringing up their kit to provide an example of a kit that is on the lower end of power and that will be cheap and give you the least amount of headaches...

"As for putting it into your tc: I would suggest not using the backseat." (huh? what is it that you are talking about?) "I know it seems logical, but eventually people will want to sit there and it might get the seats dirty." (again... huh?) "Usually I aim for somewhere under the hood." (isn't that where a turbo usually goes?) "Kind of toss in on top or maybe find a good open space to cram it into. The trunk will work as well. Good luck." (Umm... the trunk?) I don't know about everyone else, but it just didnt make sense.
I got that power to the rear wheels using Big Badass Turbo Kits Inc.'s $50 "fwd to rwd conversion kit". How is this confusing? Come on man, get your act together.
