Default The turbo is HERE!

Well, it finally showed up. The new Turbonetics Stage II turbo kit is in my possession. We're just waiting on a couple of gauges I ordered to come in so that we can have a little bit of custom dash work done before we squeeze it all under the hood. With any luck we'll have it all buttoned up in a couple of weeks.

Pictures, Dynos, etc. to come.

That's a mis-print. Turbonetics dosen't make a stage 2 kit yet. They just finished making a stage 1.

It's 8psi and pumps out 244whp 262tq, which is the stage 1 kit.

heh.. +1. Awesome.

Anyway, that's just what they've been referring to it as. I had talked to the guys out at Turbonetics and that's the lingo they were using. But I'm with 'ya. I've not seen a stage I turbo for it either. Who knows? Maybe stage I never made it out the door. Or maybe it's just a not very clever marketing trick.

Hell, it doesn't have stage I or II on the Turbonetics site, just the vehicle application. What's in a name? I'm just looking forward to a nice little boost in performance. They could call it a stage one-half for all I care.

Then you need to be correcting that site, not me. Question, at 9psi, shouldn't it be putting out more than 244whp & 262tq?

That answer is easy. Just look at the parts included with both systems and your answer will hit you in the face like a ton of bricks . I'll help you alittle bit. T3/T04E Ball bearing turbo is superior to the 16G . Keep comparing and make your own choice. It shpuld be easy now .
