Default Which Turbo Kit???

So I've recently been saving and finally have enough to purchase my turbo kit. Well heres the problem, I dont know which one I want. Here are my options:

Dezod's Turbo Kit
Descendants Turbo Kit
PTuning Turbo Kit

Whichever I go with, I'm going to get the PTuning exhaust along with a turbo timer, boost controller, new flywheel, new clutch, as for guages I'm considering getting this boost controller (http://www.dezod.com/pd_blitz_sbc.cfm) which includes all that info.

My price range is 7-8 grand with money left over for the install and ECU tuning. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Oh for the record this will be a daily driver that will not be boosted past 9psi.

Dezod has been around for a while for a reason that is one factor you should keep in mind.

i have the ptuning exhaust and its great. the ptuning turbo kit was made to bolt up to that exhaust so keep that in mind.

if you arent going crazy on horsepower the ptuning kit is probably overkill for you.

Descendants Kit just looks sick, that Manifold is beautiful, costs $1k for it alone, but if you want something to start off with, go Dezod. Probably the easiest, with the most support.

look man all of those kits are worth the price and good quality. it all depends what your pockets can afford! all made good power and havent had a problem. my opinion if i had the money and didnt go custom route i would get the p-tuning kit with upgraded turbo!!!

i would say ptuning, perfect fitment and bolts directly to there 3in exhaust your getting. I have there old kit from there TA car and its an awsome kit, very well put together and runs like a champ. There new kit is better and you wont be sorry with it.. And there service is outstanding...

Like others have said the amount of money you have to spend will be the deciding factor. Most of these kits are mostly the same except for ptuning and descendant which run EL Manifolds with variances in supporting mods that can give you a 20-30 hp increase. If you haven't already watch some videos of each brand or talk to some owners and then make your choice either way any of those 3 kits will be adequate for daily with some minor track sessions if you decide to do so. Good luck and happy boosting.
P.S. check the classified section for a lightyly used kit no need to spend all your money on a new kit when you could save and also add some suspension and interior mods.

You getting the PTuning exhaust....why not "One Stop Shop" and get their turbo kit too. Scratch that...it's not a turbo "kit". It's a turbo SYSTEM....BIG DIFFERENCE.

If you have the money and upgraded clutch, PTuning. I'm an hour from them and have seen the kit both in their time attack race car and two customer cars, the quality of the kit is the best I've seen from any company.

Direct bolt-on for the exhaust, blow-through MAF, pre-tapped oil pan, pre-tapped intake for water / meth injection, and upgradeable to the RS or TA if you want a full-out race car. The little touches also help for show, like the cut PTuning logo on the manifold and the cutout "P" logo on the oil dipstick relocatation bracket. I'm not a fan of the red, but love the black powdercoated piping.

If you were budget conscious, just looking for a 240-270 HP daily driver, or had an auto trans. I'd say Dezod.

Thanks guys I apperciate the advice, and it seems like the choice will be ptuning. On another note, I'm not the most brilliant with engines and have done the reading but am still curious...what lb flywheel and stage clutch should I get for this turbo. Like i said, I'm no racer just a officer with time and money so i dont need anything race quality just something to hold up for the turbo and wont fall apart on me in the future.

I'm running a stage 4 Clutch Masters and an 11lb Clutch Masters flywheel, and I love it. It only took the drive home from PTuning (4.5 hours) to get used to it. It catches very fast, the pedal isn't much heavier than stock, and it's more than enough of a clutch for ~300WHP.

Also, let me add one more cheap mod to your list. One that everyone will agree with me on. Motor mounts. Only $50 for a brand new set and they can be easily installed while the clutch is being done.
