Depending on what he does with the car in regards to racing, motor mounts might not be necessary but if any racing is in his future, there is no reason to skip it during clutch install as previously stated. I don't really race my car often so I have the stock motor mounts for comfort purposes. I've got the ETD in the garage to put on if I want to take it to the track for ***** and giggles. Not a cure-all solution but helps the 60ft a little. Maybe I'll throw in a set of mounts when my stock clutch finally goes :\

Your making a great choice with ptuning.
My set up is the exedy stage 2 and fidanza 9.5lb, LSD also got the poly mounts. Ptuning really liked the clutch set up also.

for real... i really want to take a ride in this, and check it out in person.
i'm so back and forth between two kits, i think if i ride in one or the other or both.. it will push me one way or another

Mo forgot to mention he even did an automatic to manual swap in order to run this kit. Previously he had the turbonetics on the auto.

Amen to that! I would go so far as to recommend Motor mounts to a 100% BONE STOCK tC.

Motor mounts aren't really for racing bro, they're to keep your motor from torquing so much. My tC is the DD and I don't even know I have the Energy Suspension polyurethane motor mounts unless I turn the AC on, a little vibration, but when it's off there is no vibration and have a stock feel.

I digress you still have a stock clutch.....I can smell the burn from here

I upgraded my clutch to a CC Stage 4 before I even put on the turbo system.

My A/C is always on. I live in FL so there's nothing I can do about it. I know what motor mounts do.

In regards to the clutch, you can ask ElevationTC who rode in it last night after 3 hours of street tuning... no slippage yet. No funny smells, nothing. I have just over 22k on the car. I'm waiting for it to go so I can put in a CC street disc in.
