Yep, that's the idea. Also, the bigger the turbo the laggier its suppose to be. Unless u have a Ball Bearing Turbo, which are mad beasts. Almost no Lag.

Yeah, I'm jealous of the way the pipes turned out too. As long as i get to ride in it, I guess I can let it slide.

well i knew that the bigger the turbo the more lag you get (reason why most twin turbo set ups are a big turbo and a smaller one) just wanted to let myself kno i was right knowing that the bigger turbo will take less psi to make teh same power as a smaller one

Most twin turbo setups I have seen are two small turbos with the same specs. Less lag and same power as big turbos.

As for the gauge pod, I can't seem to enter that post even after logging in. I'm interested if I can see some more on it.
The motor is a ZPI Stage 2 motor that includes the following:
* ZPIracing race rod bearings
* ZPIracing race main bearings
* Scion OEM rear main seal
* Scion OEM head gasket
* ZPIracing ARP head studs
* ZPIracing low compression pistons
* ZPIracing forged rods
* ZPIracing 1mm oversized valves
* ZPIracing double wound vale springs
* ZPIracing titanium retainers
* ZPIracing locks
* ZPIracing street port and polish
* ZPIracing Ported & Polished Head W/3angle Valve job
Once we get closer I plan on putting together a complete parts list, and project details!

Need to remember though that this in not just bolting a turbo on the stock motor...this motor is ZPI's complete stage 2 Long block....so all of the parts and internals truly enhance the power and power making capabilities.

The bigger turbos we have in mind will be ball bearing, and granted these wont spool as fast as the 16 or 20g the new redline on the car will be in the neighborhood of 7800rpm

Damn that's nice (not to mention a pretty penny). I can't wait to see how everything runs. Got anymore pics or info on the fiberglass pod? I'm interested in one so long as the visibility is good for the gauges and over the pod itself.

Sufficient powerband to create power.

Here are a couple more pics of it...the visibility is great!

I think Kenny mentioned it above to this one is for sale, made some changes on the design so this one is now for sale. More info at the link below too:

Damn for some reason it's not letting me onto the forum. I think someone definitely needs to start selling some pods for the tC though (hint hint ZPI). I do like 2 gauges mounted in that location, but something more subtle might be better suited since that's an awfully large for 2 gauges. I like it though, it's different.

To clarify..... we will not achieve 500whp on a 16G 500whp is the projected power output on the larger turbo. We do however project mid to low 11's on the 16G. We will run the 16G essentially wide open. 20+psi. It will fad off in the upper RPMS we are hoping it can hold 20 to redline. We it might spike at 25psi or so.

The gauge pod is a little big but that is kinda what makes it so cool. We can color match any other color. You have to be a member to read our forum, sorry.

Let me know of any other questions.

my only comment...not sure if it was made... is that the red paint job on the motor looks a little sloppy. It looks like the head was not taped off so there is overspray on it. Anyplans to clean that up?

HOLY MOTHER PVSS BUCKET!!! Now thats what i am talking about. When i pay off this car, i will be buying either a short or long block stage 2 ZPI engine, and then build from there. I will have you guys build it and then it will be brought up to you from fitment and tests. That is also including the turbo... I need to get a hold of you guys soon to start discussing what i am going to look out of pocket.. This car will be a sleeper once i buy my Lexus.. PLEASE keep me up to date by PM'ing me or better yet emailing me some info. I love the way your company is all about the tC...

On a side note will you be selling those guage pods for us, or is that a one time product. I wouldnt even mind getting the one you re selling and Suede it up for the interior work i will be doing as well..

GREAT WORK, and please keep the info coming like you always do....

thanks.

Wouldn't be to difficult to do some spot touch up on it. That valve cover I know will not stay like that, and Brian is super particular, so I'm sure he will square it away before we hit this seasons Show/track circuit. Can't wait, Nashville Scikotic boys represent.
