I'm a bit confused i thought you guys that run those crazy aluminum IM's did it cause...well cause crazy aluminum IM's are cool...
if those NITTO guys made 734hp on their "streetable"(whateverthatmaymean) TC using the stock IM.
i mean i'm sure their car is anything BUT a daily driver but what issues would you have around say 400hp?

congrats! sounds like a great build... good luck with the tranny issues.
you made me a little nervous with the IM not holding more than 20psi for an extended period of time... i really have no plans on replacing it and am currently about to start my own build... yikes. but then again im only looking for 400.

i wasnt going to post in here but if these numbers are ture i have to. To all that questioned the use of a tubular manifold with a merge collector and a remote tube, this should put a rest to your doubts. I designed the manifold on this car and i knew what i was doing when i did it. I have tested many manifolds on a flow bench like this and i have seen no down sides to using this type of set up. that is exactly why every V8 car on the planet uses this same type of setup. Everyone on this board can say what they will, but i have tested many types of metal (mild steel to econel) and many types of gauges (.065 to .11 wall thickness. I have tested this exact type of setup (header with remote mount turbo) and i have made amazing results(1088 foot pounds of torque).
The problem with the companies on this site are the fact that the use only schedule 10 or 40 steam pipe and they belittle the companies that dont. They question the abilities of the compaines that dont use this type of pipe and turn it around to make themselves look better.
I am sure that i will in some way become the as$hole in this thread but i know more that anyone on this board on air, exhaust and fuel flow when it comes to manifold and exhaust design on a flow bench and what it really means on a dyno jet reguardless if it is a chassis or and engine dyno.
Let the flames begin.
