You need a hug or something Brad...... ....sorry man could not resist...I do know what you are saying though

My buddy was building a turbo mustang and i think he used heavy ___ steel to make his mani. I think it looks like a beast of a manifold that brian has.

I installed some K1 technologies rods from Dezod on ScionGT35R and the block was not notched at all!!

really, well thats interesting! Sounds like I don't have to search too far after all... thanks! The reason I didn't want to notch the block was because notching can cause (but may not) the block to become weaker. Or at least that is what I have been told by my a former engine builder.

Ok here is the progression

December 13-14th
1) Shifter was installed - Did not fix the problem
2) All new linkage was ordered, and installed - Made it better but still not a fix
3) an 05 transmission will be going in, and we are pretty sure that will fix all of the problems.

So...the transmission will be in today or tomorrow, and then it is scheduled to be delivered to me on Dec 22nd (Of this year....LOL). When the car comes back the rest of the stuff I need to get installed will be done. Then once Mike gets the intake complete, I will be installing that along with the LSD, and having it retuned!!

December 17th
Ok here is the latest, car went back on the dyno tonight with new tranny, and fuel rail. Fuel pressure had to be turned way down so....Mikes fuel rail is working great!!! So on 17psi the car made 484whp, but the wastegate would not hold 19psi, and the turbo is a bit laggy, with full boost at around 4800rpms. So...here is what we are doing, first we are upgrading to a 44mm wastegate, and second...we are swapping the SPA turbo out with the Turbonetics GT-K 550 this is a ceramic coated ball bearing turbo so will spool a little faster, and....well it looks bad a$$. Car is still coming back this Saturday, so no delays in that, and will be back on they dyno tomorrow with the new setup!!

Decmber 19th
Turbonetics GT-K 550 was installed last night, and car was dynoed. Car made great power and has a solid tune on it, the turbo spooled 1300rpm earlier than the SPA did. The intake tract really is the bottlneck at this point, we are still using the stock intake and T.B. but car still made 540+whp, and we really cant make anymore with the stock intake in there. Really we dont want to try anyway since the engine is not sleeved. It looks like for everyday driving we will be at 12-16psi of boost and probably around 380-400whp, and 410ish on the torque! Oh yeah...and the car is STILL scheduled to be back this Saturday!!!

Rpms are not displayed because I guess the rpm sensor interferred with the Hydra, but all runs were taken from 7200-7500rpms, and boost was between 25-28. and AFR right around 11.8. Video should be up sometime this evening!!

Some bad a$$ numbers for a bad a$$ machine!

My tC is down there right now and hopefully she'll be ready by this weekend. BTW I also went with a GTK, but a much smaller one than yours.

So 542whp and 456 lbs of TQ at 28 PSI?

Reved out to 7500 RPMS?

Sounds like a turbo Honda.

rpms were in the neighborhood of 6500-7500 for most of the runs, The best torque numbers came in around 6600 rpms, and of course the best power numbers came in at high boost numbers. The car now has about 120 pulls on it, and has gone through 35 gallons of gas!

turbo Honda ehh....maybe you should come take a ride in it.....might have a different opinion!!
