Default Turbo TC Spark issues

My tc is breaking up at 5k rpm and I cant go past it. It has been fully tuned, and my tuner mapped out past the 5k at a safe level until I can fix the spark issue.

700cc injectors
t3/t4 50 trim turbo @ 11psi
Step 1 colder plugs gapped at .029

I've played with the gap on the plugs and no luck. The car made 270whp (281 crank) up to 5k rpm, and could have made more if the spark issue was fixed... I was thinking of buying the Nology spark plug wires, because they claim to give a lot stronger spark. I just don't wanna go out and dump $180+ on wires if I don't have to.

Help is much appreciated

What engine management? Its def not an issue with the stock ignition not being strong enough, several of us are running 20+psi on stock coil packs.

Did you guys do the resistor fix on the cam/crank inputs on the fic? Never heard of it breaking up THAT bad, but I know without it, a pretty bad misfire is induced somewhere in that range.

Hmmm, I didn't know anything about the resistor fix on the cam/crank inputs. I'll go check the grounds too.

Grounds are fine on the coils, and I followed the harness for loose wires, and everything was tight and clean.

Hey blue...when you start your engine does it crank too long? Mines freaking does (about 5 sec.) and sometimes it would backfire really annoyingly loud. Lol.

Yes, it does crank for a while...hasn't backfired though. I'm doing the resistance mod today. If this doesn't work, I'm going to be LOST beyond belief.
