^^ what phil said was probably coming from todd because thats what he told me too.. no offense but todds reasoning and knowledge i trust!

he also said its a waste of money when you can park your car check your e-mail, fix your shirt or whatever then simply get out of your car and everything will be fine. he said you can get one for the following reasons:

1. piece of mind
2. its an actually extra "mod" you have
3. 1/4 times and stuff like that

just saying what todd said.. haha

I get out of the car the second I park. I don't need to fix my shirt, and I don't have wifi to check my email....lol

But the features alone are enough to spend the $100 bucks it cost.

I have an Apex'i and I never had to splice anything to do with the ECU.. this guy ... man just get an Apex'i it was an easy install.... not a big deal heres the DIY link

It`s fine man, just didn`t even do anything wrong. I was told that all TT had to be spliced, unless I am wrong. I haven`t seen a PnP for a TT tho. Is there one for the Apexi?

Actually I heard a turbo timer is a factory option for the new Evo X....my uncle was checking them out and he saw that they had turbo timers in them on the lot...just some FYI

eh...I haven't heard that. And even if it is...why only and option and not standard? If it's not standard...Mazda must feel confidend that even withotu a turbo timer, thier turbo and engine will be fine for AT LEAST 5 years.

0-60 time

1/8th mile time
1/4 mile time
Built in shift light
RPM sensor
MPH sensor

All of which I love using.

If I talked REALLY nice and bought you dinner, could you help me wire in my HKS timer if I drive down to Nashvegas? Or if you all are planning another install party soon...

It's an older model....(I think) and has no harness...just 7 wires coming out of the back.

Going to install my turbo this weekend, and I don't want to run it long w/o the timer.
