it makes sense because the flow is from the brake boost line to the left side of the vac block then out from the right side of the vac block back into the nipple by the passenger side.. makes sense right??

Java - using left and right is really confusing. I dont know if your sitting in the car or standing in front of the engine bay. Depending on which one your left and right will change.
Please only use driver vs passenger side. Or reference standing in front of the car which most pictures would reference.
Also the vaccum source is coming from the passenger side and going to the brake booster not the other way around. As long as you have a straight line of flow. It sounded to me like you had the Passenger side booster line running to the driver side vac block fitting and the Driver side booster line running to the vac block passenger fitting. Which would be wrong.
None the less I say re-do the dang thing. It will take you all of about 15 minutes.
Also Jax- you can clearly see that they installed a union on your driver side booster line to extend it. You should pull that out and look if its restrictive or reinstall where you dont need it at all like mine.

i must be stupid tired for posting this, but i wanna help.
kydog...this is how i beleive java's vac block is connected, as this is how I told him ine was...from the passenger side break booster line, to the passenger side of the vac block, WG, Boost Gauge, BOV, driver side vac block to drive side of break boost line. I THINK a bit of tube had to be added to one side to make it all reach, but I could be wrong as Todd actually did mine.

Ok, my boom comes when i first turn the key to On position not ACC, and it happens at cold start or when the car was off for a long time.. then the car doesnt start right away when i get the boom (only had 2 booms so far)
kydog, my vac line is routed same as yours (i even posted how clear your pics of you vac setup) but the driver side vac line is just extended towards the passenger so my vac block will be somewhere in the middle.. i think it flows freely though and i will checm again

nope, i'm using NGK Iridiums (1 step colder).. i doubt the spark plugs have any bearing since it happens before they even spark, right?

since it happens when our fuel pumps are turned on and there's smoke (which means theres probably fuel), what if it IS because we're running rich. if we're running rich, especially right before we turn the car off (my idle is rich as HELL), then the fuel pump would see a ton of fuel and then suddenly zero. so what if the residual fuel is at the fuel pump where it pumps it.. if the fuel sits there and cools down long enough, maybe it congeals a little and sort of clogs the fuel pump. then, when the fuel pump is turned on, the pressure violently forces the fuel out, causing the boom and the smoke. i'm just fishing for theories. thoughts?

but the thing is does fuel congeal/coagulate?
i dont think it does really, or else it would screw up the lines leading out of the tank?
i mean, you can leave your car sittin for 3-4 weeks and start it up no problem ya know?
